Simon Pursehouse upped to global director of music services at Sentric

Simon Pursehouse has been promoted to global director of music services at Sentric Music Group. He was previously director of music services.

Pursehouse will focus on creative opportunities for Sentric’s network of writers – ranging from traditional signings to sub-publishing and 28-day users – and executive-level duties including business development and client servicing

It is one of several appointments at the music publisher.

Previously head of product partnership & RightsApp, Sabine Douglas has been promoted to head of business operations. Her new responsibilities include working across all divisions to implement new workflows and business processes, developing strategic objectives across the business and integrating new opportunities. She will continue to manage RightsApp and Sentric’s development team.

New hires at the company include Ashley Smith, who joins as finance manager, while Luke Montague joins as royalty manager to head up the royalty team. Montague joins from Warp, having had previous roles at Downtown Music Publishing.

Sentric’s finance director Stuart Chandler has been appointed to the company’s board of directors.

Meanwhile, the company’s head of rights management, Phil Rose, has been appointed to the Board of the Music Publishers Association.
